NYCDA Success!

July 7th, 2019 6:07pm

Spending the day grateful to all the students, parents and faculty that made this year’s NYCDA Nationals the best yet! So proud of the hard work and dedication that we saw from everyone! Although we are a little melancholy about letting go of this year’s amazing routines, we are looking forward to our 51st season and exploring new possibilities and growth!
We have so many great opportunities coming up this summer. July will bring you an exciting Broadway Workshop with Ben Cameron, Nikki Snelson and Eric Stretch. We are adding more acting classes along with musical theater choreography to this incredible workshop. Then August will bring us into our Master Class Week, which is always the best week of the summer!
We can’t wait and we know you are as excited as we are to keep improving, keep training and keep our bond as strong as ever!

We had so many outstanding performances, awards and highlights. One of them being a scholarship to Dean College for High School Junior, Hannah Flynn. She auditioned at NYCDA and received a $60,000.00 scholarship to the dance department at Dean. She is thrilled and so are we!
Jackson Conley gave up his title of Mini Outstanding Dancer after spending the year touring with NYCDA and becoimng an even more mature dancer and young man. It was an amazing exerience for him and his familty. We are so proud!
Ali spent the week judging, being the emcee and teaching her first class as faculty at Nationals. As a mom, I couldn't be prouder of my girl!
Landslide, her teen tap was chosen out of all the teen dances to perform in the Gala. Such an incredible honor for our team!
We belive everyone did their personal best and acted so professionally. AJ, Ali and I couldn't have been prouder!
