Parent pick up - students will wait with a staff member until they are dismissed to a parent.
Mask Policy -
Due to a decline in cases, as of March 2nd students will no longer be required to wear of masks at the Studio. Every day that we can be where children can fully express themselves in the classroom and teachers can have full communication, including facial cues, we will celebrate! And if there are days ahead where we have to revisit our mask policy we will do so.
In the meantime, all other risk-mitigating factors remain in place and parents are asked to keep their children home if they do not feel well, or are quarantined. We ask that they keep up with other healthy habits such as good hand hygiene, hydration, nutrition and sleep. Anyone who would still like their dancer to wear a mask is welcome to do so. Masks will still be available at the front desk.
Mary Alice's Dance Studio follows the More Than Just Great Dancing!® Safer Studio Guidelines, which prioritize a hierarchy of safety and wellness measures including:
Wellness checks for staff
Frequent hand hygiene
Enhanced cleaning procedures
Touch-less payment options
Minimizing number of people in our building
MADS will continue to clean frequently and sanitize high traffic areas and high touch surfaces. We will continue to follow CDC guidelines as well as NYS Dept of health.
Our studio is Tech-Enabled™ with live streaming equipment hooked up in each dance room should your child need to quaantine or stay home due to Covid realted illness. This also gives us the ability to let the oarents join us for Zoom watch weeks on holidays and special occasions.
