Jennifer Repp

Jen Repp has been dancing for over 32 years and started her dance education at the Judy Pichardt Dance Academy at the age of four. Jen has been teaching in the Western New York area for over 15 years and received her degree in dance from the University at Buffalo in 2002.While attending UB she was a member of the Zodiaque Studio dance Ensemble for two years and a choreographer and dancer for Dancers Workshop her junior and senior year.
Before returning to her hometown in Buffalo in 2009, Jen worked at A Time for Dance in Chili, NY and Perinton Dance Company in Perinton, NY where she taught all levels of jazz, tap, ballet, pointe, contemporary, lyrical, and hip-hop from 2004-2009.
She has served on the Dance Rochester! (DR!) board for 6 years, which is a nonprofit organization that brings dance education and performances into the community for little or no cost, and was president of DR! from 2007-2009. While President Jen created the new DR! website, and chaired the annual DR! Showcase for three years. She also was on the board for the Eisenhower Dance Ensemble residency and created the first DR! teachers seminar. Jen was also a founding member of the CORE Dance Project, in Auburn NY, which gives emerging choreographers and dancers a chance to showcase and perform for the local community. Her choreography has also been used at many area benefits and Dance Rochester! events such as Showcase, Composer/Choreographer Concert and Atrium Concert.
Jen teaches various levels and styles of classes at MADS including jazz, ballet, musical theater and hip hop and continues to educate herself in all styles of dance through conventions and master classes both locally and in New York City.
Jen currently resides in Orchard Park, NY with her family and is very excited to be entering another season at Mary Alice’s.
